Pattern of the week!

Happy Monday!
Here's an original pattern I came up with to share with you all!

Knit Basket Weave Hat Pattern:
(I used Lion Brand, Hometown USA yarn and size 8 circular needles.)

Cast On 40
1) Knit 3, Pearl 3 for the entire row
2) Join ends
3) Knit 3, Pearl 3 for the next two rows.
4) Switch to Pearl three, knit three for three rows
5) continue from step 1 until you have nine rows of squares, (27 rows)
6) Finishing: Increase 2, knit 5, decrease 1. Continue for row.
7) Knit 4, decrease 1. Continue for row.
8)Knit 3, decrease 1. Continue for row.
9) Knit 2, decrease 1. Continue for row.
10) Knit 1, decrease 1. Continue for row.
11) Decrease every stitch until you have 6 stitches left.
12) Gather stitches, tie off, weave in ends.

And'ja done!
